The flanged OS&Y gate valves is UL/FM approved/certified and suitable for the Firefighting industry and mainly used in the ON/OFF application within a system. The threaded stem and nut are located outside of the valves body and process media preventing contamination and seizing of the stem and nut. Valve gate position can be identified by the installation on switches.
